Latest class 60 update

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	As the Sandite season is here DBS has reinstated some more class 60s they are as follows. 60010, 60022 and 60084 all back into action. And also reinstated are 60004, 60040 and 60045 although the latter three have been unofficialy working for some days. That takes the class 60 fleet up to 23 working examples.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	Three more class 60s back in service as of tonight. 60048, 60051 and 60096 reinstated back to service the trio were stored at warrington, and after assesment at toton are back in service, that takes the operational total to 26 locos.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	Latest on the DBS class 60 fleet is as followes... 60048, 60051, 60071 and 60094 have all been reinstated to traffic from toton, meanwhile 60068 has been returned to the shed at toton for further component recovery.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	A couple more changes to the fleet 21/10/09... 60009 is reinstated from the toton stored pool. 60074 has been put into store tactical reserve at toton. 60051 has left toton and gone into service after being reinstated but not leaving the depot. 60020 and 60061 after being inspected at toton have been laid up tactical store which probably means they wont work again, and are likely to end up on the head shunt.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	More goings on in the class 60 fleet are... 60024 and 60059 stopped tactical reserve both at toton. 60013 stopped tactical reserve at scunthorpe. 60048, 60071 and 60094 all stopped tactical reserve various locations. This leaves the class 60s total in service at 20 locomotives.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	The class 60 fleet has been hit hard in the last couple of days... 60004, 60019, 60021, 60024, 60039, 60040, 60063 and have all been allocated to store by toton this takes the class 60 fleet to just 12 locos.

Swapping places is 60084 which has been stopped tactical reserve even though its still active and i saw it earlier. Toton has been gathering the 60s allocated to store as they come in. 60019 and 60021 have been harvested but still to be stopped but allocated to tactical reserve are 60004, 60024, 60039 and 60063.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	More action to report from the class 60 fleet... 60035 and 60045 havent made it back to toton yet but have been stopped tactical store. 60063 and 60096 have been reinstated to traffic. 60004 due for storage is still out and about in service. 60024, 60039 and 60084 have been stored tactical reserve after making their way back to toton. Of these locos 60063 has been stored and reinstated in the last week or so without actualy being stopped at any point.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	Latest class 60 news... 60004 and 60035 have both made it to toton and are stopped tactical reserve. 60054 has also been stopped tactical reserve. 60013 and 60074 have been reinstated to traffic after repairs. Of the 60s allocated to store 60045 is still avoiding toton and remains in traffic.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	More tug news... 60011 has been added to the stored tactical reserve list despite still being in traffic. 60054 has returned to traffic even though it might not have actualy been stopped. 60045 has finaly been caught up with having been stopped at bescot pending a move to toton. 60084 has been reinstated from toton after just week in store.

Sergeant Major Group: Members Posts: 210 Member No.: 37 Joined: November 30, 2008	More from the tug fleet... 60010 has been stopped tactical reserve after suffering a bogie malfunction currenty at peak forest. 60035 has been reinstated as cover for 60010. 60022 has returned to traffic last seen leaving toton. 60019 has become active again without being reinstated its been sent to scunthorpe as a super shunter replacing 60071 which has been returned to store at toton. 60011 still has not returned to store as yet after being seen in traffic the weekend.

Toton has caught up with 60011 and its now stopped tactical reserve. 60039 has been reinstated from toton. 60022 has been stopped tactical reserve currently at Eastleigh. 60074 is likely to be stopped soon as its power unit keeps shutting down.
